Cambio al vertice per Fujifilm Europa

Masahiro Kosaka e' il nuovo presidente di Fujifilm Europe e succede a Hirofumi Yanagida che e' stato presidente per 5 anni. Kosaka e' entrato in fujii a Tokyo nel 1969 ed ha avuto diversi importanti ruoli in germania e negli stati uniti.

Masahiro Kosaka appointed President of Fujifilm Düsseldorf

Masahiro Kosaka has been appointed President of Fuji Photo Film
(Europe) GmbH (Fujifilm Europe), succeeding Hirofumi Yanagida
who had held this position for the past five years. The change
became effective as per August 11th, 2005.

Masahiro Kosaka joined Fujifilm in Tokyo in 1969, and has
accumulated extensive overseas business experience in several
positions, including eight years working at the company's Düsseldorf
office from 1980 to 1988 and at Fujifilm USA from 1998 to 2002,
where he was in charge of recording media business.  For the last
three years, he had been General Manager of the Printpix Products
Division and the Imaging Products Division at the company's head
office in Tokyo.

"The European market is becoming increasingly important for us.
Fujifilm has more than 30 subsidiaries in Europe where in total about
8,000 people are employed", says Kosaka. "In addition to that, we
carry out production and R&D in Europe. Today Fujifilm has grown
into one of the biggest imaging and information companies of the
world, offering system solutions on all sectors of these fields. Based
on our core competences we shall continue to diversify into growth
markets and create new business fields. The strategy of my
predecessor Yanagida will be continued. I am optimistic that we will
continue our successful business here with our high quality products
and the strong brand name of Fujifilm."

Hirofumi Yanagida has assumed a new position as Adviser of Fuji
Photo Film Co., Ltd., Tokyo.
